Khan play wombatwombat's 11th birthday and Christmas party on Friday 16 December 2011 @ NAC

Please tell us a bit about Khan's history…

Paul and Lee [ex-UH-OHs and The Pistolas, Ed] had been messing around with some riffs and pieces for a couple of months in the rehearsal room when we heard that James, formerly lead vocalist and guitarist in KunK, was keen to play bass in a new band. Knowing he had similar influences we immediately contacted him and it just clicked straight away.

Khan's music is for fans of…

Mclusky, Nirvana, Melvins.

You're prolific songwriters and usually showcase at least one new number per show: what's happening tonight…

Tonight we are debuting a new stronger, tighter, ballsier slightly re-vamped version of our most recent song Evil.

…and what are your release plans for next year?

We hope to record a single with the songs Evil, Tribesmen and Braaains and put it out there in some physical format for the merch stall.

For now though, you can download Show No Mercy and Judgement for free at our band camp and we have some T-shirts for sale for £5.

What else do we absolutely need to know about Khan?

We're loving what we do so if you want to see three grown men losing their shit on stage come through to the auditorium at 8.30pm.
