 The much-anticipated release of Howl Project's first EP – Fundicion, on indie label Tweet Woof Tweet – kicks off with a launch party at Norwich Arts Centre on Thursday 17 June. Howl Project first appeared on the Norwich scene three years ago and continue to push the boundaries of 'dark pop' with melodic, rhythmic, left-field songs based around desire, loss and the human condition. The up-coming gig will host a musical explosion of Norwich's finest – including the dysfunctional disco-rockers Death of Death of Discotheque and mighty punk/indie duo Glory Glory – and a visual spectacular with spliced vintage Super 8 films and digital projection to provide a near fit-inducing backdrop to the raw, powerful, energy-driven performances. Add a little fancy dress of the nautical persuasion to the mix and expect the event of the year, as well as the opportunity to be one of the first to get your hands on the EP.
